Saturday’s Powerball is here. Since there was no jackpot winner on Wednesday, when the winning numbers were 1, 25, 29, 31, 47 and 7, the money has once again rolled over and is now up to $110 million with a cash value of $70.5 million.

There were 496,912 regular Powerball winners and $6,618,868 in non jackpot money was won.

As the rules of the game are set up there are actually nine ways to win at Powerball with a simple $2 ticket. A player has a 1 in 175,223,510.00 in getting the grand prize and a 1 in 5,153,632.65 in winning $1,000,000.

Aside from just buying the ticket, the whole trick seems to be paying attention to the drawing and showing up for your prize.

As reported by NBC affiliate KOBI, some lucky winner in Grants Pass, Oregon, bought a ticket on May 6 that matched four of the five numbers plus the Powerball number.

This ticket, which would have already been worth $10,000, is now actually worth $50,000, as the purchaser elected to add a $1 Power Play multiplier option.

But, as of May 13, no one had come forward to claim the hefty prize. There is no big rush, as the ticket holder has a year from the drawing date to get that cash.

However, Patrick Johnson, the winner and promotion specialist with the Oregon Lottery, has stressed the immediacy of the situation: "If you purchased a Powerball ticket in Grants Pass, check your wallet, your fridge, your purse, wherever you keep your tickets and see if you won."

And if you do have that winning ticket, Johnson says to sign it right away.
