The backyard reportedly boasts a saltwater pool equipped with spa, an attractive home feature perfect for summer. The backyard has stone work patio, brick fireplace, barbecue and bar to set the groove. Stunning ocean views can also be seen from the property located in Bal Harbour private community.

Indoor Luxury

All the bedrooms in the Beuerlein residence have corresponding bathrooms, but the room that stands out as is the master suite. The Orange County home comes with a luxurious master suite equipped with a gas fireplace, customized shelves and a viewing porch that offers more sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. The master bedroom also showcases an en-suite bathroom with a spa bath and a separate shower. It also offers a walk-in closet and Travertine flooring.

The former athlete's modern kitchen is quite impressive, too. It has granite countertops, stylish stainless-steel Viking appliances, and a hardwood flooring. The kitchen also comes with lots of cabinet storage that makes organizing the pantry convenient. The room's big island also creates a convenient setting for cooking dishes.

Meanwhile, Beuerlein's spacious office space also features elegant wood cabinets and shelving.

NFL Career

Buerlein, 50, attended the Notre Dame University before he was drafted by the NFL. According to the league's website, the retired quarterback, who officially played from 1988 until 2003 played for six teams -- Los Angeles Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Phoenix Cardinals/ Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos. The Hollywood-born football player amassed 24,046 passing yards in his NFL career.

He is best remembered for "The Draw," his winning move for the Carolina Panthers against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in 1999, notes The Charlotte Observer.

“I know there have been a lot of great Panthers moments now that have knocked that play down the pecking order,” Beuerlein said. “But to me, it will always be the greatest play in Panthers history."
