Prince Royce vs Romeo Santos: Prince Royce Is Incorrectly Identified as Romeo Santos at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards [Watch]
Prince Royce was at Sunday's 2015 Billboard Music Awards. During an interview, the name Romeo Santos was displayed on the screen.
Royce was chatting with Chelsea Briggs and Jennette McCurdy. The two asked him what he thinks of these types of events.
While answering the question, the name Romeo Santos appears and then disappears from the screen.
During the interview, Royce says he tries not to think too much when it comes to these types of events. Royce continued the interview and told McCurdy that he will be going on tour with Arianna Grande starting July 15.
Royce said he met Grande when he decided to come out with an English-speaking album and "join audiences."
Even though the name mistake was displayed for just a couple of seconds, fans on social media definitely saw it.

Producers for the Billboard Music Awards could have mistaken Royce and Santos because they are both in the same musical genre, bachata. They also both have roots in the Dominican Republic and are from the Bronx, but there are even more differences between the two, starting with their looks. Also, Royce is 26, and Santos is 33.
Santos has a more established music career, having sang with Aventura when he was younger. Royce also has a very successful career, though he has been in the music industry for less time than Santos.

Royce was on hand to present the fan-voted Chart Achievement Award to Taylor Swift.
Royce and Swift were later together with Jennifer Lopez and others in a goofy group photo that included crowns, a sword and a skull.
