Bobbi Kristina Brown Death Rumors: Nick Gordon Pleading With Bobbi Kristina's Family to Allow Him to Visit
Nick Gordon released a statement to the family of girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown expressing his "strong desire" to be able to visit his still comatose girlfriend.
Bobbi Kristina Brown has remained unconscious and unresponsive ever since being found face down in the bathtub of a Georgia home she shared with Gordon in late January.
Up until now, her relatives have refused to allow Gordon to see the 22-year-old, but on Monday, Us Weekly reported his attorneys have began publicly pleading his case for change.
Randall M. Kessler and Joe S. Habachy released a statement that read, "Despite his strong desire to see Bobbi Kristina, Nick has respected the families' wishes for over three months and has refrained from visiting or from pursuing access to her through the courts. He has asked through counsel many times privately and now asks both the Browns and the Houstons, please let him see her."
At one point, the magazine reported Gordon even declared his beloved would "wake up" if she could only hear his voice.
Christopher Brown, legal counsel for Bobby Brown, countered that claim by asserting Gordon has been given the chance to visit Bobbi Kristina, provided he was willing to meet certain stipulations outlined by the family. He later added, "Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe."
Over the last several months, Gordon has also sought treatment in a rehab facility and now believes he is strong enough to move forward, despite reports by TMZ that authorities have now also launched a criminal investigation into several unexplained injuries found on Bobbi Kristina's body that targets him.
Just weeks ago, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported a Georgia court judge granted guardianship over Whitney Houston's only daughter to Brown and aunt Pat Houston, and they are now responsible for all medical decisions related to her long-term health care.
Atlanta attorney Bedelia Hargrove was placed in control of the estimated $20 million fortune left to her by Houston, with that control also including being responsible for assets related to her "likeness, rights and legal claims."
