'The Blacklist' Season 3 Spoilers: Will Red Have Back-up to Keep Liz Keen Safe?
Fans of "The Blacklist" are still reeling from its Season 2 finale and are eager to learn more clues about what is in store for Season 3 of the hugely successful NBC hit show.
The cast is also gearing up for the fall, where "The Blacklist's" Season 3, Episode 1 is expected to re-engage fans with some juicy new plot twists but with the same characters.
One question that "Blacklist" fans are pondering is whether or not Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) will team up with Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) to help keep Liz Keen (Megan Boone) safe.
Do you think Red really needs back-up?
Boone chimed in a bit on the highly-anticipated upcoming season.
According to Zap2it, Boone revealed that "The Blacklist" Season 3 is "going to be the same characters but a different show, a very different dynamic because now Liz Keen is no longer working within the law."
"If you break open the entire task force, then it will be challenging to try to find the procedural aspect of the show again," Boone explained. "With 22 episodes a year, it does benefit the show to have some kind of a formula. But we are going to sort of break open a lot of the structure of the show."
"In the season finale Liz (Boone) realizes she is being framed by The Cabal forcing Red (Spader) to use his connections to help her clear her name. As Cooper (Harry Lennix) receives shocking news, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff), Samar (Mozhan Marno) and Aram (Amir Arison) must decide who on the task force can still be trusted."
"The Blacklist," which quickly got the thumbs-up to proceed with production of Season 3, has received stellar reviews from both fans and critics alike, according to reports. "'The Blacklist' Season 2 episode 22 was viewed by approximately 7.49 million viewers on NBC," according to Ecumenical News.
"The Blacklist," Season 3, Episode 1, will return to NBC in the fall.
