50 Cent has slapped rival rapper Rick Ross with legal papers, claiming he is real culprit in releasing a sex tape featuring the "In da Club" rapper's one-time girlfriend and mother of his child.

According to TMZ, Lastonia Leviston has already sued 50 for the offense, claiming she was left so distraught over it she once contemplated suicide. The rapper counters by asserting he only linked to the video, arguing it was actually Ross who posted it live on the web for the world to see.

Born Curtis Jackson, 50 Cent points to an interview Ross did with a radio station the day before all the commotion broke. During the chat, 50 claims Ross clearly stated that his intentions were to download the tape online.

The 39-year-old Jackson goes on to assert if he loses his suit to Leviston, it should be Ross who has to pay the balance of the judgment because he's truly the guilty party. In her suit, Leviston maintains her actual partner in the video gave it to her ex, and he was more than happy to blast it as part of some sort of retribution against Ross.

The feud between two rappers dates all the way back to at least early 2014, when 50 started implying that Ross, Diddy and former record executive Steve Stoute were all involved in some sort of gay relationship.

One of two pictures he posted online shows Ross and Diddy from an angle that makes it look as if they are about to kiss. Alongside it, he posted the caption, "I ain't saying nothing, but something ain't right. Lmao."

TMZ adds later he quickly took both of the pics down from his page. Not long ago, Stoute appeared on a VH1 Documentary about hip-hop in which he branded "The Get Rich or Die Tryin'" star a "has-been."
