In Kris Jenner's world, it seemingly appears that any publicity is good publicity.

After being derisively cast as a "momager" to her rising family of celebrity daughters, Jenner now seems to be embracing the name. TMZ reports she plans to have it trademarked in the world of entertainment – a fancy way of saying after that anyone else who wants to use the description for themselves would need her permission or run the risk of being legally sued.

The website adds she's also secured use of the name in a similar fashion as it relates to personal management services and its use on her family reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

TMZ also reported last month Jenner's two youngest daughters, Kendall and Kylie, filed applications to trademark their first names for the purposes of "entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture."

Kylie Jenner also filed legal papers looking to mark her territory for personal appearances "by a celebrity, actress and model."

Just this week, Hollywood Life reported the 59-year-old momager was rumored to have taken issue with the way son-in-law Kanye West elected to celebrate his first anniversary with daughter Kim.

Seems West decided to keep the family in the dark and the E! Network TV cameras at bay when it came to sharing details about the celebration he planned. The TV cameras were front and center for the couple's lavish 2014 wedding ceremony in Paris, which ended up being aired as a special on the network.

"Kris is a little irked by it all," a source said of the way things have played out this time around. "She was hoping that they could at least work out a deal for a TV special. But Kanye doesn't want that. He wants to do something far more private and meaningful, not for the cameras."
