Nia Guzman-Amey, the mother of Chris Brown's daughter Royalty, claims the singer has stopped paying $2,500 a month in child support, and now she's going to sue for at least six times that, reports TMZ.

Several sources with knowledge of the situation alleged to TMZ that Brown, 26, stopped paying 11-month-old Royalty's mom the $2,500 in March because she demanded $15k a month, which he thinks is way too much.

According to the sources, Brown feels that Guzman-Amey, 31, is treating his daughter like a winning lottery ticket. She, on the other hand, says that their daughter is suffering because Brown is being incredibly cheap.

Guzman-Amey's lawyer, Carl Moore, reportedly plans to file legal documents in the next two weeks demanding back child support and a significant hike in current monthly payments, according to TMZ.

Upon finding out that he was the father of Royalty, the "New Flame" singer has tried to establish a good relationship with Guzman-Amey. The two have shared times together with Royalty, despite having no romantic ties.

The situation has not been easy from the start. Brown has been battling since April to have his name on Royalty's birth certificate. TMZ reports that Guzman-Amey's boyfriend, Brazil Riesling, has been legally listed as Royalty's father on the birth certificate, though a paternity test proved Brown is the child's biological father.

"The DNA tests show that Chris Brown is the biological father, so he could go to court and fight to get his name on the birth certificate," Los Angeles attorney Mychal Wilson explained to HollywoodLife. "However, he is allegedly negotiating with Nia Guzman outside of court to be recognized at the legal father of Royalty."

Wilson went on to say, "Bottom line is that money speaks and Chris Brown will have to pay out to be legally recognized instead of going to court, which he probably loathes considering his past history with the judicial system."

Brown's past record, which includes domestic violence, may cause a judge to determine he's not a fit father, according to Wilson.

"He may not be awarded with custody rights or even visitation rights. So, it makes sense that Chris would want to do this outside of court," he said.

Brown reportedly has his attorney negotiating with Guzman-Amey and Riesling about the matter.
