Nintendo is joining the Humble Bundle, a service that lets the public decide what they want to pay in exchange for games by offering several games of its own for extremely cheap prices, Polygon reports.

This is the first time Nintendo has offered its games for sale on Humble Bundle.

In the past, Humble Bundle has sold games, eBooks, music and movies, but this is the first time that they have sold console games.

Players wanting to purchase a Humble Bundle can choose the amount they want to pay. No matter what amount they pay, they will receive the three core games. Pay more than the average purchaser has paid and players will receive three more titles. Finally, a purchase of $10 or more will unlock two premium titles.

According to Humble Bundle, all of these games would normally selling for $88.

Nintendo is calling this bundle the Humble Nindie Bundle, and it is named after Nintendo's initiative to support independent developers. The bundles support the charity Code.org.

The bundle will include three 3DS games, three Wii U games and two games for both systems. The games are only playable for consoles purchased in North, Central and South America (except for Brazil), due to Nintendo's region restrictions.

The core titles, which can be purchased by paying any amount are "Guacamelee! Super Turbo" Championship Edition for Wii U, "Woah Dave!" for the 3DS and "Mighty Switch Force!" for the 3DS.

By paying a little more than the average purchaser, a player will receive "The Fall" for Wii U, "OlliOlli" for both 3DS and the Wii U, and "Moon Chronicles" for 3DS.

The $10 minimum titles are "Stealth Inc. 2" for Wii U and "SteamWorld Dig" for both 3DS and the Wii U.

More titles are coming soon from Nintendo during this promotion.

Humble Bundle said the partnership with Nintendo has been pleasant for both parties.

"We got to know each other and we were throwing darts at the wall," John Graham, co-founder of Humble Bundle said. "We are all about promoting indie games and Nintendo has a lot of indie games."

"Nintendo and Humble share passion and enthusiasm for indie games," Damon Baker, Nintendo of America's Senior Manager of Publisher and Developer Relations, said. "This is an incredible opportunity to promote our talented Nindie community while supporting a great cause."
