Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has worn many hats in his career, and the actor can add one more accomplishment to his list.

Johnson has a presence on the gridiron, the mat, the chapel and the silver screen. The actor played football in college, wrestled in the WWE and has been acting now for years, following his breakthrough performance in "The Scorpion King."

He has done drama, horror, action, family and even comedy. As a matter of fact, comedy is what he excels at right along with action movies. Well, that and ambushing his friends and fans with on-the-spot weddings as an officiant.

But what he is taking center stage for now is breaking a world record, according to The Huffington Post. It's also in a somewhat new category: taking selfies.

While attending the London premiere of his new movie "San Andreas," Johnson had an adjudicator on hand from Guinness World Records to monitor, witness and record his record of taking 105 selfies in three minutes.

He accomplished this feat while on the red carpet at the movie premiere with fans and just about anyone who would accommodate his venture.

The rules for having this authentic record clearly stated that Johnson was required to have the full face and neck of participants visible in the shots. The selfies also had to include no blurring on the final product. That could have been a disastrous failure if his camera decided not to cooperate with the processing of the image.

The actor also posted a video to his Instagram account accompanied with a little note to go along with it.

"We just set a NEW GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for most self portraits (selfies) taken in record time (yup, a selfie world record exists and your arm gets a helluva workout). WORLD PREMIERE of SAN ANDREAS and rewriting the record books all in one night. #MicDropBoom #NewSelfieKing #LONDON #SanAndreasWorldTour MAY 29th.," Johnson wrote.
