Fans of the upcoming racing simulation game, "F1 2015," will have to wait another month as developer Codemasters has decided to delay its release to July. However, the company seemed determined to make up for the change in schedule with the recently unveiled teaser trailer that showcased the game.

"F1 2015" was initially scheduled for a June 12 release and the recent post on the game developer's official website did not provide a reason for the delay.

Nevertheless, Codemasters came out with the first ever gameplay teaser trailer for the upcoming game in the same blog post. The 23-second clip showed some select scenes from the game. It highlighted the racecourse, players preparing for the race as well as cars in action on the track.

The developers also showcased different screen shots of the actual game for players to see the image quality they could expect when the title rolls out in July.

In another blog post, Codemasters promised to give out the "ultimate Formula One video game experience" with the upcoming title.

Among the upgrades fans could see in the game as demonstrated in the video is the enhancement on graphics and visuals. The game developers noted that the upcoming title from the F1 series would "act as a significant step forward in the game's visuals and physics-based handling model."

To upgrade the way gamers play the game, the devs decided to focus on 20 key areas that would tackle and revise aerodynamics, fuel tank, force feedback, engine and transmission, suspension as well as the tire physics model.

Together, these components are designed to give the gamers a realistic feel on how the cars actually work on the track.

For additional racetrack feel, Codemasters opted for a "broadcast-style" presentation on the gameplay so that players could get into the racing atmosphere.

The visuals in the teaser video were impressive. The developers told Eurogamer in April that the upcoming title will have a 1080p resolution for the PlayStation 4 while the Xbox One will have 900p, both at 60fps.

"On console we've had it very, very close to 60fps, certainly on PS4," revealed game designer Steven Embling.

Players in United Kingdom, Australia and Europe will be able to access the game on July 10. Meanwhile, those located in the North American region will get it on July 21.

"F1 2015" will be available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
