‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 6 Spoilers: Kono Will have the Worst Honeymoon Ever, Gabe Appears in the First Episode
Viewers left wondering about the wedding situation and also what happened between Chin and Gabe on "Hawaii Five-o" can at least be comforted by the fact that the wedding did take place.
According to TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich, the series will pick up almost immediately where Season 5 left off with the wedding reception, which officially confirms the wedding has gone down, and the rest of the first episode will occur within a small amount of time from that point.
Mitovich points out that Kono, even though she is now happily married to Adam, will not have a whole lot of fun on her honeymoon. As a matter of fact, Kono and Adam's honeymoon will likely be a disaster.
Showrunner Peter M. Lenkov spoke with Mitovich about the upcoming season on CBS and what to expect.
"Kono's going to have the worst honeymoon anybody's ever had," Lenkov told TV Line. "It's going to be an interesting ride, that first episode!"
But Season 6 as a whole will bring new and interesting stories.
"We have a great story" on tap, one that is "very cool, very different, very big, and something like we've never done before," Lenkov revealed to TVLine.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lenkov revealed that the Chin and Gabriel situation is going to play a major role in Season 6. He said that Gabe is going to be "force to reckoned with" next season and that storyline is going to be in the first episode.
It is likely that Gabe's "bad guy" character is going to be the season's major nemesis, although not confirmed yet. Gabe seemed to have major plans, but viewers are left to wonder what they are.
"The pieces are going to come a little bit more together at the beginning of next year," Lenkov told The Hollywood Reporter. "Somebody like that [Gabe], you imagine as soon as he got away, he would have left the island, but he didn't, so you've got to ask yourself why."
