It appears Alexander Skarsgard of “True Blood” has found love in British model Alexa Chung.

According to an Us Weekly source, the new couple is “serious” with one another and things have “really heated up” between them.

“It is a fun relationship for both of them,” the source revealed. “She is just about as busy as he is. It is not really feasible for them to become a more committed couple, but the hangouts are great.”

The first hangout that the couple was seen together in was when they had what looked like a romantic date on Friday in Prospect Park and Botanical Gardens in New York, added Us Weekly. Eyewitnesses reportedly saw them resting under a tree and even took pictures of one another as they strolled around the park’s grounds.

Before they were spotted in New York, however, the rumor mill was actually already abuzz with reports that these two very good-looking people were already secretly seeing each other since February this year. Dating rumors first sparked when PEOPLE reported that they were spotted spending time with one another two times in a week, including the time when they were seen together at New York’s Bowery Ballroom.

“They were deep in conversation,” PEOPLE's insider said.. “He seemed really laid back, but she seemed super animated and into him.”

The very next morning, the couple was also spotted having breakfast at the Bluebird Coffee Shop. Comedienne Hayley Sacks was also there at the venue and quickly reported about what she saw.

“I try not to post blurry pictures on Instagram,” Sacks wrote. “BUT, I am in the middle of breaking an important celebrity news story. So, rules do not really apply. That is Alexa Chung! I just saw her with Alexander Skarsgard from ‘True Blood.’”

Sacks left no detail untouched, as she even told her fans and followers about the meal that Chung and Skarsgard enjoyed during their date, according to Daily Mail. She also mentioned that the two were clearly “rubbing each other’s lower backs,” although she did not reveal in context why the couple was doing so.

“No one knows they are dating,” she added. “Except ME, and now, you. I just feel like I have to tell because Brian Williams never will. Okay, signing off now.”

The “True Blood” actor was romantically linked with Kate Bosworth from 2009 to 2011. The 31-year-old UK TV presenter, meanwhile, dated Alex Turner, the front man of Arctic Monkeys for four years until they broke up in July of 2011, the same year that Bosworth and Skarsgard split, Us Weekly noted.
