Teresa Giudice took to Twitter behind bars on Sunday to thank all her followers and supporters for being kind to her during her incarceration in the last five months.

Prior to that, the Bravo star's last tweet had come just before she was required to report to the Danbury Correctional Facility to begin serving her 15 month federal sentence on fraud related charges.

During her time in prison, Giudice has been rumored to have been exercising nearly every day and working in the kitchen. All that leaves her attorney, James J. Leonard, convinced his client will emerge from her prison experience stronger and more focused than ever.

"She's getting back in touch with her faith," he told Radar. "She's spending a lot of time praying in there, and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people."

The 43-year-old Giudice isn't expected to be released before around Christmas, but she already clearly has family and friends keen on her mind.

"I think she's going to take it one day at a time, but her focus is, 'I want to get back to my freedom, I want to get back to my husband, I want to get back to my parents, my children, and then kind of take it as it goes,'" Leonard said.

The lawyer adds that she's been dealing well with the experience.

On her release, Giudice is almost certain to return to "Real Housewives," and reps for her are rumored to have been in recent discussions with show executives.

"Anyone who has watched that show since the very first episode understands that Teresa Giudice is the central figure around which the show revolves," Leonard said.

"That's not to take anything away from any of the other women, but Teresa has been the focal point for the last six seasons, and I don't expect that to change moving forward."
