Reality TV star Kate Gosselin is rumored to be engaged to millionaire business owner Jeff Prescott after she showed up at a TLC event in Philadelphia last weekend sporting a ring on her left finger.

Radar reports photographers snapped a beaming Gosselin wearing the triple-band, jewel-encrusted trinket as she signed autographs during the event.

Still, all may not be smooth sailing for the former "Kate Plus 8" star and her mysterious new man. Radar also recently reported the 51-year-old Boston-bred entrepreneur has a history of jealousy and was once accused of stalking his former wife during their contentious divorce.

In court documents filed in Massachusetts in 2006, Michelle Jones allegedly accused her then-husband of possessive and "scary" behavior in the months following their separation. In one instance around Valentine's Day of that year, Jones charged that Prescott trailed her around town during a night out with friends at the Naked Oyster.

"I observed my husband in his Humvee parked in front," Jones wrote back then. "He was stalking me. He is extremely jealous of my friend who works at the Naked Oyster."

Just days before, Jones alleges Prescott called her at least 12 times over a 48-hour period, promising that the divorce would become "nasty," and she would "lose everything."

In 2005, Jones also told police that Prescott verbally attacked her for getting a ride home with a male friend and blatantly accused her of cheating. At that point, Jones alleges Prescott sat out on a mission to learn the identity of the man driving the vehicle from a license plate check, leading to police uncovering an extensive collection of pistols, rifles, shot guns and BB guns he legally owns.

Despite all the drama, Prescott tells Radar he and his ex are now on good terms.

"As for the divorce issues, most of them do not carry any merit," he added. "We went through some tough times that were short lived. Michelle and I get along great and have for a long time."
