A world without anarchy is a world without entertainment. When will Showtime's hit series return the the airwaves? What will the respected up close, feared & loathed at a distance, SAMCRO do for an encore? Sons of Anarchyseason 6 was hedonistic and horrifying. Can season 7 up the level of debauchery once more? Will the show go out with a bang or a whimper? Read more below to find out.

Season 6 premiered with a heart melting school shooting and ended with poor Tara getting stabbed in the neck with a kitchen knife. Can series creator Kurt Sutter and the esteemed "SOA" writers be counted on to deliver a shocking final season premiere episode? Well, they sure have plenty of avenues to explore. One path the writers could take is to arrest Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam), the president of SAMCRO, for his wife Tara's murder. No, Jax didn't do it, but wouldn't it be fun to see him boxed into a corner? How would Jax react knowing that the Charming P.D. was wasting valuable investigation time by trying to nail him for the heinous crime?

Would Gemma Teller Morrow (Katey Sagal) spill the beans and cop to murdering her helpless daughter-in-law? Will she even feel bad about the murder when she finds out she killed the wrong girl? It's unlikely she would live to die another day if her son found out. Jax is forgiving, but he ain't a saint.

Jax may very well move on from his dear beloved Tara and start hooking up with his drug-addled ex-Wife Wendy Case (Drea Matteo). This rumor seems to have steam, due to the announcement that Matteo has been promoted to series regular according to TVLine. Screen Crush was quick to remind its readers that Drea's character has never been a full-time cast member on the show. She even completely sat out years two and three. How will Jax and Wendy cope with seeing more of each other? Is this potential relationship bound to end in heartbreak?

Other castings updates have been made public thanks to Sutter and referenced by Screen Crush. CCH Pounder is quite likely to return as tough DA Tyne Patterson. Peter Weller is also on track to reprise his role as corrupt cop Charlie Barosky. Last, but not least, Kim Dickens should be back as sultry prostitute Jane Collette.

"SOA" is set to air its seventh and final season this fall.
