Eminem released the first single off the upcoming "Southpaw" motion picture soundtrack, titled "Phenomenal," on Monday at midnight.
The Detroit emcee kicks off the hard-hitting track with a catchy hook about resilience and revival.
"I am phenomenal / With every ounce of my blood / With every breath in my lungs / Won't stop until I'm phe-no-menal," he raps over the DJ Khalil-produced beat.

"Let me self-empower you / When you're down and they're tryin' to clown the f**k out of you," he said in the fiery second verse. "When you feel like you're runnin' out of fuel / I'll show you how to use doubt as fuel / Convert it to gunpowder too."

Eminem also makes reference to Cypress Hill's 2001 song, "Here Is Something You Can't Understand," which features a line about killing a man.
"Sometimes I feel just like B. Real from Cypress Hill / How I can just kill a cypher, survivor's guilt," he spits.
"The Monster" rapper was originally considered for a role in the forthcoming boxing drama film; however, he decided to concentrate on recording his eighth studio album, "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," instead.
In an interview with Billboard, Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg revealed Slim Shady worked so hard to make sure that his music reflects his passion for the project.
"We've assembled a great soundtrack to accompany what's sure to be one of the finest boxing films ever," he said.
The entire "Southpaw" soundtrack will be available on the same date as the movie hits theaters on July 24. Check out Eminem's "Phenomenal" below.
