Nike Release Dates 2015: KD 7 Elite 'Rose Gold' & 'Frozens' Price & Where To Buy Details Revealed [Photos]
Another signature shoe joins Nike's Elite Series "Rose Gold" edition. The KD 7 is the third sneaker alongside the Kobe X and LeBron 12 to complete the newest Elite collection of the global sports brand.
According to Kicks on Fire, the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy is the inspiration for the KD 7 "Rose Gold." The sneaker is a mixture of dark grey and bronze hues that give it a unique look.
While the greyish bronze color combination dominates the Hyperposite upper material, hints of rose gold can be seen in the large Nike Swoosh logo found at the forefoot, as well as the background of the "KD" logo on the sneaker's tongue.
Touches of crimson red can be seen peeking from the perforated holes on the upper material's side and rear. A Nike Zoom Air unit can be spotted at the rear of the icy translucent outsole.
Unlike the standard KD 7, the elite series does away with the midstrap over the shoelaces for a more classic and simple look.
The "Rose Gold" edition joins two other colorways, "Team" and "Elevate," which are available for the Elite series.
KD 7 Elite "Rose Gold" will drop in select Nike stores and Nike.com on June 5. Each pair will be available for $200. Nike has not announced if the design will be available in grade school sizing in the future.
While the young fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder forward may not be able to cop the "Rose Gold" edition, Nike has another fun design for kids.
The KD 7 is coming out with the "Frozens" colorway, which was inspired by the Washington native's favorite cold treats when he was younger.
The Hyperposite material comes in a vivid sky blue color while the Flywire support comes in a pink and blue popsicle design. Other hints of pink come in the form of shoelaces while a blue outsole and midstrap complete the look.
The KD 7 "Frozens" for Kids will be available on June 5 for $115 a pair in Nike stores and Nike.com.
