Jenni Vive 2015 Concert: Late Singer's Daughter, Jacquelin Campos, Will Perform 4 Songs; Regulo Caro & Chuy Lizarraga Also Added to Lineup
The lineup for the Jenni Vive 2015 concert continues to grow. More performers, including Jenni Rivera's daughter, have been added to the tribute concert, La Opinion reported.
Regulo Caro, Chuy Lizarraga and Jenni Rivera's daughter, Jacquelin Melina Campos, have been confirmed for the concert. Campos is Rivera's second daughter.
"Jacqie has sang for years in church and she has an amazing voice; and she has to sing in my mom's concert," Chiquis Rivera said. "I think that she will sing four songs, and she is very nervous but she'll be fine."
Chiquis also added that she would love for Campos to join Sweet Sounds Records.
Chiquis has already been confirmed as a performer for the concert. She has been preparing for the concert.
"I am very happy. I am going to start preparing," Chiquis said.
The Jenni Vive! 2015 concert will take place on July 2 in Long Beach, California. Performers already confirmed include Becky G, Fidel Rueda and Banda Los Recoditos.
The concert will take place on Jenni's birthday. Jenni would have turned 46 this year; she died Dec. 9, 2012 in a plane crash. Since her death, there have been many celebrations and tributes to her legacy.
Juan Rivera, Jenni's brother, said that the Rivera family plans to hold a yearly concert for the next 10 years in order to honor her and raise money for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.
The concert is expected to have performers of all different genres.
"My sister crossed different genres, including pop, bachata," Juan said before a tribute concert held in December. "She even sang reggaeton, so we will also include those genres. The concert will also benefit upcoming artists, who will hopefully get a lot of promotion and great visibility."
