One of Bobbi Kristina Brown's aunts is claiming she continues to "make progress" and the family is "allowing her to continue healing in God's grace."

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports aunt Leolah made her claims in a recent Facebook post and that they are in stark contrast to the clearly grim assessment grandmother Cissy Houston recently gave.

Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's only daughter has remained unresponsive and largely in a medically induced coma since being found face down in late January in the bathtub of the home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon.

It has not been clear what Bobbi Kristina's condition is.

"She's the same. We've moved her now to a place of rehabilitation. There's still bit a great deal of hope. We're praying," Cissy Houston recently told WBLS radio of her granddaughter.

Meanwhile, Leolah has frequently solicited prayers and well-wishes on behalf of her 22-year-old niece.

"Please continue to be patient with us," Leolah saidon Facebook. "You have no idea how much my brother Bobby and Bobbi Kriss are grateful and appreciate your kind words and prayers! In fact, we are all grateful to Almighty God for allowing us to still have Krissi with us."

Bobby Brown's lawyer, Christopher Brown, also recently released a statement where he noted that Bobbi Kristina's condition has improved some and doctors now indicate she stands to have a long life.

"However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come," he said, according to Us Weekly.

TMZ recently reported police have now launched a criminal investigation into the circumstances surrounding Brown's condition after doctors detected several other unexplained bruises on her body. Reportedly, the probe targets Gordon as a primary suspect.

Whitney Houston died more than three years ago after being discovered face down in a bathtub in her Beverly Hills hotel room. She was 48, and authorities have since ruled she had drugs in her system at the time of her death.
