Jada Pinkett Smith is now convinced she and Hollywood husband Will Smith got married when she was "too young," but she says she will never be his "watcher."

According to Us Weekly, the 43-year-old "Ali" actress sat down for a talk with Sirius XM radio host Howard Stern on Wednesday where she also likened their 18-year marriage to an extended journey.

"We have traveled and you've gotta be strong," she told Stern. "It takes work -- you know that. Here's the deal, Howard. You've gotta trust who you're with. And at the end of the day, right, I'm not here to be anybody's watcher. I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man."

Back in late 2013, Pinkett Smith was forced to endure rumors that her "Men in Black" husband might be cheating on her with his much younger "Focus" co-star, Margot Robbie. Even though the Australian actress quickly dismissed the rumors as "ridiculous," they persisted for a while.

"Here's what's real," Pinkett Smith said. "I'm not the kind of woman that believes a man is not going to be attracted to another woman."

Smith later added she's sure that a man being attracted to another woman doesn't mean he does not love you or he plans to act on his surface feelings.

"If your man isn't going to see another woman's beauty, how the heck is he going to see yours?" she said.

In February of 2014, Will Smith admitted to Us Weekly that he and his wife have sometimes struggled with finding a balance between career and family time.

"You'll realize that you're either really committed to having a relationship, or you're really committed to coming up," he said. "At some point one or the other is going to have to suffer."
