The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly seeing improvements in the game of quarterback Tim Tebow heading into the 2015 NFL season.

Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said that Tebow is getting better as the new season approaches. Shurmur said that the 27-year-old quarterback is working hard in training camp to improve his craft, and the effort is yielding positive results so far.

"He is actually getting better every day," Shurmur said via NJ.com. "He works extremely hard. He is getting comfortable in what we do. He is having more good plays than bad plays out here. He is doing a very good job."

Tebow did not play in the NFL for two seasons after stints with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets. He also tried his luck with the New England Patriots in 2013, but failed to make the final roster.

But despite being snubbed by NFL teams over the past two seasons, Tebow reportedly underwent intense training and according to quarterback coach Ryan Day, the dedication of the former Heisman Trophy winner led to improvements, particularly in his throwing motion.

"He is working hard out here just like everyone out. He has some good throws, some throws he wants to get back," Day said of Tebow. "But he is working hard to change his throwing motion, and every day he is getting better."

Tebow, who signed a one-year deal with the Eagles, is currently fourth in the depth chart behind quarterbacks Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley. The former Florida standout said he is aware of what people and analysts are saying about him, but he reiterated that he is not bothered at all.

"The good thing is, I don't really have to worry about it," Tebow said. "For me, it's just about trying to be the best teammate I can be. It's not necessarily pleasing all outside opinion. There's not going to be a lot of believers, there's gonna be a lot of naysayers. That's just something that you can't let worry you."
