As everyone is very aware, Superman has always had one thing that Batman never did: invincibility.

You can shoot him, spear him, burn him, blow him up and even drown him, but he will still live to tell about the way he beat you in the end.

But, there is one thing that has always given Superman a weakness. One thing the Dark Knight knows about, and when he takes on the Man of Steel next year in the first such big screen representation of both superheroes, he will be using it.

Kryptonite. Need we say more?

Of course we should. And now, according to Heroic Hollywood (be warned because there are SPOILERS ahead), it has been revealed what Batman's weapon of choice is going to be when he squares of with the Kryptonian phenom.

The article reports that Batman will be armed with what can only be described as a "Kryptonite Laced Spear." This of course will have you wondering, if Batman wins, will he "off" the alter-ego of Clark Kent, or will he just walk away with bragging rights.

But killing Superman would take all the fun out of the pending "Justice League" movie if he was not in it, so that is not likely. We can probably be more assured that this will be another one of those "heroes fighting each other movies to blow off steam"-type of scenarios. Even the Hulk did not kill Thor or Iron Man in the "Avengers" movies, although he probably could have.

However, this revelation shows just how dark of a turn the movie is going to take, as evidenced by the recently released trailer. Batman's new persona felt a little "evil," in a manner of speaking.

"Tell me, do you bleed?" Batman asked Superman in the trailer.
