Jennifer Lopez Accused of 'Disturbing Public Order' For Raunchy Moroccan Show
A Moroccan education group has slapped Jennifer Lopez with a suit charging she "disturbed public order and tarnished women's honor and respect" in recently performing one of her trademark shows in the north African nation.
TMZ reports Lopez's May 29 show was aired on public TV, and her sexy dances and scantily-clad outfits have caused quite the controversy among town people.
The website adds Lopez has previously performed in the country on several occasions, but her shows have never been broadcast on public television. If found guilty, Lopez could even face anywhere from a month to two years in prison.
Meanwhile, the 45-year-old Lopez is rumored to have recently patched things up with on-again, off-again 28-year-old boyfriend Caspar Smart and People reports the two were recently spotted holding hands on the set of her new police drama "Shades of Blue."
During a recent appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Lopez remained coy about her overall relationship status, telling the host, "Yeah, yeah. I'm kind of not, but I kind of am" single.
One thing Lopez does seem certain about is refuting the "cougar" label she has gotten from some for sometimes dating younger men.
"I'm not after younger guys," she assured DeGeneres. "If younger guys like me, that's one thing."
Lopez also took the time to weigh in on her "American Idol" show, and the upcoming year being heralded as the 15th and final season for the Fox aired show.
"It's not over until it's over," she told the host. "So I just feel like you never know. After the finale this week and you feel that moment. You remember why you love this show. It just gives opportunity where there is none, you know, and it's about dreams. And it's about everything that America is about."
