Chris Brown has extended his apology to Kendall and Kylie Jenner over his recent diss of their father as a "science project."

The "Loyal" singer recently labeled 65-year-old Caitlyn Jenner as such in a meme he re-posted, drawing strong public criticisms from many including 17-year-old Kylie.

"Chris reached out to Kendall and Kylie to apologize, saying he didn't mean to hurt anyone and that it was nothing personal against Caitlyn, who he considers incredibly brave," a source told Hollywood Life. "The girls accepted his apology, and everyone is moving on. Kendall and Kylie certainly aren't going to hold a grudge and they feel he just made a simple mistake."

More specifically, the 26-year-old Brown was guilty of re-posting a meme that was originally shared by Snoop Dogg. It also posed the question why rapper Akon's charity work was not getting much buzz while the news of Jenner's sex transition seems all the rage.

According to Hollywood Life, the caption read, "Shout out to Akon. He is about to supply 600 Africans with solar power. I'm really upset that this isn't but that science project Bruce Jenner is #Society."

Brown has since deleted the meme and seems to be genuinely regretting the pain he may have caused. A source described Kendall as so "disappointed" and feeling as if the 26-year-old Brown should have known better.

"Because he's a family friend, Kendall felt that Chris should've been a little more understanding," the source added. "She thought that he'd let himself and her friends down."

It's been a week to forget for Brown who also engaged in a screaming match with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran that grew so intense police had to be called. All the commotion started after the two came face to face and a Hollywood party and Brown reportedly refused to leave her vehicle until he had a chance to speak with her.
