The photos do not just show Princess Charlotte, the newly born daughter of Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, more popularly known as Prince William and Princess Kate or Princess Catherine, but the young Prince George as well, who was holding his adorable little sister.

These photographs were said to be taken in mid-May by the Duchess Catherine herself. No, these wonderful photos of the royal children were not shot by professional photographers, a deviation from the Royal protocol.
The first official photographs of Prince George, who was born on July 22, 2013, were released showing both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with him and were taken in August by Mr. Michael Middleton at the Middleton family home in Berkshire, as featured on TheDukeandDuchessofCambridge.org. The next official photos were taken by photographer Jason Bell during the prince's christening, notes the site.
Although Kate Middleton is just an amateur photographer, her photos earned raves and praises for their "professional" look. Glenda Tarling, a professional photographer who specializes in children's portraits and runs GR Tarling Photography, commended the Duchess' skills and techniques. "Judging by the amount of natural light flooding into the pictures, it's likely Kate took the shots next to a large window. And most likely without using any flash," Tarling told Daily Mail.
Duchess Catherine gave birth to the young healthy princess who weighed in at 8 pounds (lbs) on May 2 at St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, the Telegraph reported. Such overwhelming happiness for the young princess' birth was evident from the countless gifts, handmade cards and letters that the royal baby has received as featured on the account. Their Royal Highnesses Prince William and Kate sent out their thanks via the account, too.
The official account of the Kensington palace also issued a request for the avid followers of the Royal family to also make the joyous occasion more meaningful.

Meanwhile, the Royal family will also be busy preparing for the next important event in Princess Charlotte's life, which is her christening. The young princess will be christened on July 5, at St. Mary Magdalene's Church on Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham estate, said the Kensington Palace to People in a statement on Friday. What makes the place more meaningful is that it was the same church the late Princess Diana, the young princess' grandmother, was christened herself.
