The new "Harry Potter" spinoff film by author J.K. Rowling, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," will be an Americanized version of the "Potter" wizarding world, according to Cinema Blend.

The American version of the films is not only a spinoff, but also a prequel to the "Potter" series. Rowling has not yet confirmed what the name of the school is going to be, nor where it is located, but she has confirmed that it will not be in New York.

People have been hypothesizing on Twitter that the film school may be the "Salem Witches' Institute," but Rowling shot that down on the social media site by saying that name was a joke on the Women's Institute in the U.K.

Cinema Blend quickly reminds fans that the Salem Witches' Institute was a banner Harry spotted while at a campsite during the Quidditch World Cup.

Rowling has been very active on Twitter and other social media platforms, but she has kept many details very secretive about the upcoming film release.

"Fantastic Beasts" will feature Newt Scamander in New York, where he will meet people who attended the school that is not actually based there. He will be accompanied in the lead role by four other Americans.

So far, there is no information yet as to who or what they are. Although most of the details thus far about the film have been vague, Rowling has also confirmed on social media that the school will have an American-Indian culture focus.

Although the school will have a foreign name, it will after all have Native American influence.

She also confirmed that indigenous magic will play a role in the school, but we are not sure yet how much of a role it will play in the film. All we do know now is that Scamander will be venturing to America in the 1920s and his journey will play a role in the textbook that he will eventually write.
