In an interview with InStyle.co.uk, reality TV star, socialite and brand ambassador Kylie Jenner gave the world a candid peek into her personal life, which includes divulging that her mother, Kris Jenner, cut her off financially three years ago.

The 17-year-old star gave the magazine several insights into her personal live, which included her interest in fashion and how it has evolved over the years. But it was her disclosure about Kris Jenner cutting her off at the age of 14 that had fans stirring.

"My mum [Kris Jenner] cut me off financially three years ago so I pay for everything -- my car, my gas and food as well as my clothes," Jenner told InStyle. "There are so many outfits I bought in the past that I just think now are NOT cute -- but there's not very much I can do about it!"

She also recalled the moment she got into fashion, which was influenced by sister Khloe Kardashian's attire one Easter morning that inspired her to learn more about it.

"I feel like I dress like Khloe on my down days and Kim [Kardashian] when I'm going out," Jenner said. "If I'm just running out I'll throw on a cute T-shirt, a pair of leggings and my Timberland boots. If I'm dressing up I love Céline and Saint Laurent, or for accessories Alaïa, Givenchy or Gianvito Rossi."

The socialite also revealed that fashion is one thing she pays attention to more than her body image, with the exception of spray-on tans.

"I haven't worked out in two and a half years. I'm living out my youth not doing any exercise and eating what I want, which is pretty bad. I'm into yellow rice -- you just cook it for 15 minutes, it tastes so good," Jenner said.
