‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' Release Date, Cast & News: See the First Trailer Here [Watch]
Fans can now finally see what to expect in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2."
The movie is considered to be a highly anticipated event, and it will be released on Nov. 18 in the U.S. to scores of fans around the country that have been waiting for the epic big-screen conclusion to the Suzanne Collins series of young adult books, according to The Wrap.
Katniss Everdeen, who is portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence, will be front and center for this picture, which its predecessors have performed to enormous box-office successes over the past three years, according to Variety.
"We all have one enemy," the wild Everdeen yelled to a crowd of people who see her as a leader and innovator for the cause of taking down the Capitol in this concluding installment to the series.
The first three films have already brought in $2.3 billion from worldwide audiences and this last film is expected to push it past the $3 billion mark, combining domestic and international receipts.
The film was directed by Francis Lawrence. The cast has returning and new actors, including Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore and Natalie Dormer.
The late Philip Seymour Hoffman will also be in the movie, and he is seen in the teaser video.
Vanity Fair reports that this film will differ from the previous ones in that it will be a feature length battle sequence, which sees Everdeen and her companion team taking out various installments in the Capitol to make ground toward Snow and the enemy.
The entire Capitol has been booby trapped with various forms of ominous devices and creations that come out when the rebels step into a sector. Fans can expect this entire film to be climatic, as it is the second half of the Collins novel "Mockingjay."
Without giving too much away, there will be both heartache and victories experienced by both sides as the war for the Capitol rages on to its thrilling conclusion.
