‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 21 Cast & Rumors: Demi Moore Wants to Join ‘DWTS’
After her daughter, Rumer Willis, got the "Dancing with the Stars" Mirror Ball trophy, it appears Demi Moore wants to try her luck in the celebrity dancing competition, next.
Demi was one of Rumer’s biggest supporters, as seen by how she was almost always present at the stands cheering on as her daughter graced the dance floor with her Ukrainian dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
Now that they have one "DWTS" title to their name, Hollywood Life cited a report from an upcoming issue of Star Magazine, which claimed that Moore is thinking of joining the show. Although the “Ghost” actress may have a shot at winning it if Rumer got the dancing chops from her side of the family, rumor has it that Demi is actually not in it to win it.
According to the magazine's source, Moore just wants to “reinvigorate her lagging career.” She may have starred in ultimate classic movies, such as “A Few Good Men,” “Ghost,” and “GI Jane,” but she has not starred in a movie of late.
Apart from reintroducing her to the industry that had once catapulted her into the famous celebrity that she is at present, it might also be a good method of helping her spice up her dating life.
“Demi has pretty much given up on men!” an insider told Radar Online. “She is very single and very lonely right now. After Ashton, Demi feels that she is not going to ever really find that connection again with another man. Part of her wishes that she never left Bruce Willis. People try to set her up on dates and such.”
Although it sounds to be a win-win situation for Demi should she ever confirm that she will be joining “Dancing with the Stars” season 21, Rumer apparently thinks it is not such a good idea.
“Rumer does not get why her mom – who is already an A-list star – needs to try to outshine her,” said the Star Magazine source. According to the insider, Moore wants to be paired with the same Ukrainian dance pro Chmerkovskiy who helped Rumer gain the title last season.
