Google has released a handy tool to help smartphone buyers pick out the ideal device. The tool is exclusive to Android phones, and it will ask several questions in order to narrow down which phone to purchase, according to Engadget.

The tool will ask users what they will use their new smartphone for and how often.

The question process will start by asking what the main function of their new device will be. They can choose from taking photos, listening to music, being productive, social media, gaming, watching videos, being on the go, staying fit, texting and messaging, talking, web browsing and "expressing my style."

For example, if a user picks "taking photos," the next question will be, "How often do you take photos?" Users can select a few options, such as a few times a week, 40 times a week or even one for those who don't keep track of this number. The next question will ask them what is important with their phone's camera. They can select say not sure or pick between a camera fit for selfies or one that will produce more high-quality pictures.

After selecting the main function of their next smartphone will be, users are asked to come up with two more functions that they would like their phone to do.

Choosing social media will lead to the first followup question, "How often do you post, check in and browse social media?" The user can answer respond by saying it's 1 hour a day or more.

One more function will be required. If the user picks talking, they will then be asked how many hours per day they will use the device to make phone calls.

Once the three functions are picked, users have the chance to pick more categories they will use the phone for or seeing the list of recommended phones.

The next question will ask the user what cellular provider they will be using. With the functions of taking photos, social media and talking and the carrier of AT&T three phones were recommended. The three phones that were recommended were the LG G4, the Nexus 6 and the HTC Desire EYE.

The LG G4 is recommended because of its excellent camera. The HTC Desire EYE is recommended for long periods of talking because of its noise cancellation feature.
