With the upcoming release of Star Wars Episode 7 in 2015, the rumors surrounding the casting -- and the characters -- have gone into overdrive. The latest casting rumor? Yoda will appear in Episode 7 as a Force Ghost.

According to Metro, the little green Jedi will supposedly have a storyline with Luke Skywalker (whose presence, as we previously reported, has been confirmed in Episode 7) about a "rising imbalance in the Force," combined with a need to preserve the Jedi. "His might not be the only old face to pop up again -- the site reports that holograms of Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn, Samuel L Jackson as Mace Windu could be displayed alongside Yoda's in the new Jedi Temple," reports Metro.

Meanwhile, Peter Mayhew -- best known as Chewbacca -- tweeted some never-before seen photos from the original trilogy, which has further ramped up the fervor surrounding the film. In one, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) is holding a blaster to his head, and Mayhew writes "We all go a little crazy, sometimes."

The hospital warden (yes, he returned to his job after Star Wars wrapped) tweeted some additional photos because, in his words, he was feeling nostalgic. In another photo, he's sharing a laugh with Anthony Daniels (C3PO, who wasn't in costume in the photo taken), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), and of course Harrison. Then, in another, he stood behind Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie, and Kenny Baker (R2D2), with the caption "Mark, Carrie, Kenny, and some tall fellow."

Other pictures included C3PO standing under an umbrella in the Tunisian sun, Harrison Ford laughing near the Millennium Falcon, Carrie (in the infamous metal bikini) laying in the sun with her stunt double, and -- most touching of all -- the first-ever storyboard for what was (at the time) known as "The Star Wars."
