Although Valeria Lukyanova found her claim to fame by looking and dressing like a real-life "Human Barbie," the 29-year-old model says she actually finds the label to be degrading.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan.com, Lukyanova opened up about being an Internet sensation, her strict diet and workout regimen and how she feels about being called a "Human Barbie."

"I think it's even a little degrading and insulting, but I'm used to it now," said the Ukrainian model about her nickname while speaking through a translator. "I have to comply with it because it's become part of my aesthetic image, but I don't like it."

She went on to say that she tolerates being compared to the iconic doll because that's what her fans demand.

"I don't want people to try to copy someone, and that's why I don't like when people think I am imitating a doll; it's degrading. I'm used to it now, since that's what my work demands and this is precisely the image most fans request. So I have to comply with it because it's become part of my aesthetic image, but I don't like it," she said.

Despite her dislike for the name, Lukyanova admitted that she spends hours trying to look like a Barbie. She said that it takes her an hour to do her hair and an hour to apply her makeup. She also spends five to six hours at the gym on a daily basis in order to maintain her thin physique.

She said that working out for her is as normal as brushing her teeth and showering. She finds it necessary to lift weights so that she can maintain her body.

"It's part of me. It's my lifestyle. My body thanks me for constant training and an increase in strength," she said.

Lukyanova also told Cosmo that she follows a raw food diet.

"I really like all kinds of vegetables and especially broccoli," she said. "I also really like nuts, but I don't eat many of them because they are very high-calorie. For fruit, it's grapefruit and apples. For many years, I have eaten only raw foods."

That means that the social media star also stays away from lots of sweets.

"I'm working to have definition, especially definition in the abs," she explained. "I've noticed that even if I eat one ice cream, the next day, I have a thicker fat layer, so I try not to eat that."

When asked if she ever thought about using Botox to maintain her looks, Lukyanova said, "I'm opposed to that. I think that if we can preserve [our skin], we should do that. I'm not worried [about getting old] because the most important thing is our thoughts. We look however we feel."
