Playboy Playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley has been found dead at the age of 34. TMZ reports that she was found dead at a friend's L.A. home on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Police are currently investigating.

Law enforcements reports that police are investigating Hensley's death as a possible overdose. Foul play is not suspected, as the friend explains that she found Cassandra floating in her bathtub. Her friend immediately called paramedics who tried to revive her but could not.

The Playboy mansion mourns the death of one of their own today. Hensley was born and raised in Utah's Salt Lake Valley and was Miss February 2006 in the famous Playboy magazine. Hensley described herself as a model who started modeling while studying to become an aesthetician. After placing in the Top 20 in a Tropic Contest in Hawaii, she tried out for Playboy and made it.

"I'm happy to be a Playmate, it's a dream come true" Cassandra said in her bio. After Playboy Hensley said that she lived a happy life. "I have been a part of many great experiences, travel shows, magazine covers and of course giving advice to young impressionable girls who think they need to act a certain way for a chance to be a model", she told Metropolis Nights magazine in December. Cassandra considered herself "an honest, fun, loving person who loved to meet new people".

Tina Jordan, a friend of Cassandra's says, "Cassandra Lynn was very dear friend of mine ... She was a great mom and I knew she was trying to do her best. But there are times when I felt she was hurting inside..." Jordan adds her condolences saying, "She was fun to be around. She was always up to something. She will be deeply missed. I hope and pray that she's now at peace and her family knows that she was very loved."

Rest in peace, Cassandra Lynn Hensley.
