This fall, two soccer video games will vie for gamers' attention.

"FIFA 16" and "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016" both offer soccer simulation on video game consoles, but which one is the better of the two?

"FIFA 16" has the major advantage when it comes to the number of players included in the game. FIFA owns the rights to the licenses for many leagues in the world, including Bundesliga, the English Premier League, Major League Soccer and many soccer leagues in Spain, France, Italy, Asia and other countries around the world, according to Vine Report.

"PES 16" has some creative and unlicensed names for its leagues and championships. Even some team names have to be changed due to licensing issues. For instance, "PES" used to have the rights to use Liverpool in the game, but now the team is called Merseyside Red. However, the game was able to secure the exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League.

For the 2016 version of "FIFA," EA Sports made a big change in its roster -- players will be able to play with women's teams from Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China and Mexico.

"PES 16" improved the way players collide with its Enhanced Collision System. This system will influence how a collision will play out. "PES 16" has also improved its response time in player control meaning players will be able to pull off more impressive moves and shots. Finally, "PES 16" will allow players to control their post goal celebrations, even allowing players to take "selfies" with smartphones after scoring a goal.

"FIFA" has improved its gameplay mechanics considerably in recent years. "PES" games have had excellent and realistic physics that make the game harder for the player. Passes have to be accurate in order to be completed and scoring is not an easy task. FIFA has upgraded its artificial intelligence to make the soccer simulation more realistic, according to Day Herald.

"PES 16" will be released before on Sept. 15 "FIFA 16" on Sept. 24, giving the game a chance to collect some early purchasers, but it just cannot beat "FIFA."

"FIFA" has tons of real-life team rosters, stadiums and even added women's teams. "PES 16" will focus on its improved gameplay in hopes to lure buyers away from "FIFA 16."
