An Oscar nod for any actress is a big deal, and it is to Sandra Bullock but the role that Sandra takes to heart more than anything other acting role is her role as mother to adopted 4-year old son Louis.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sandra shares that the first thing you'll hear from her in the morning is, "Brush your teeth....now are you really going to brush your teeth? You've got to brush your teeth."

The 49-year old, who already has an Oscar under her belt for "The Blind Side" is nominated as best actress for her role in "Gravity", is referring to talking to her son Louis's morning routine.

Washington Times writes that Sandra refers to her involvement with "Gravity" alongside director Alfonso Cuaron as "the best life decision I think I ever made."

Being nominated for such recognitions, "I always feel like this is so out of my comfort zone that if I dance then I'll be hit by a truck," shares the actress. "I'm stammering a lot just because, I don't know, I'm so grateful. I'm so grateful for the experience that I had on Gravity. My love for [fellow Oscar nominees, Gravity director and producer] Alfonso and David Heyman are just beyond. They gave me a once in a lifetime opportunity that they easily could have given to someone else because I'm a long shot."

The actress told TheWrap at an interview that during filming, she had the feeling of being "constantly agitated and frustrated" that she could not do what director Cuaron wanted.

She recalls the time of shooting and reminisces, "...the whole experience was so new and unexpected in so many ways. It revitalized me in a way I didn't know I wanted to be revitalized. And now I want everything I do to be like that, even if it's just a silly comedy."

When asked if she will share with her son the news of such an honor, "Nope... He doesn't know what I do for a living. He just knows that Mom needs to get upstairs and get him dressed and that's exactly the way it should be. It should be about his life, not mine. He doesn't need the interruption of my vanity."
