Iggy Azalea admits she still struggles with her self-confidence and brushing aside her insecurities.

"Some days I just think I want to crawl in my cave and I don't feel confident at all and then other days I feel great," she told "Today." "I think it's like that for all human beings, not just young women. I think feeling confident 100 percent every day is something to aspire to, but I don't think it's humanly possible for anybody."

At this point in her life, the 25-year-old "Pretty Girls" rapper seems to have come to the conclusion that being honest with herself is the best approach she can take.

"I think it's just having that honest moment with yourself and other people, and almost admitting and embracing that your flaws are the thing about you that you sometimes feel bad about but they can empower your own self," she said.

Azalea recently shut down her social media presence after being attacked by some comments from users who said they detected cellulite on several online photos she posted. In pulling the plug on the Internet, Iggy explained to fans she simply needed a moment to refuel herself and "be happy."

In recent weeks, it would seem that mission has been accomplished. Azalea and NBA star Nick young recently announced their engagement and Us Weekly reports she is hard at work figuring out all the details.

Earlier this month, the L.A. Lakers veteran swingman presented his lady love with a massive diamond sparkler while they were out celebrating his 30th birthday.

People magazine reports the man known as Swaggy P got down on one knee and popped the questions as friends and others looked on in stunned approval. The couple has been dating for about a year.

In all, Young has played eight NBA seasons, the last two with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. His best season came in 2013-14 when he averaged 18 points, three rebounds and two assists.
