"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Joe Giudice could soon have his own spin-off show on the Bravo Network.

According to Real Mr. Housewife, Teresa Giudice's husband, with whom she has four young daughters, has already agreed to terms with network officials.

"Joe has signed a deal for a show," a source close to the production said. "It will be very short and only a few episodes. Think of it as a check in to see how he is handling the girls as a single parent."

Teresa remains away serving out the remainder of her 15-month sentence at the Danbury Federal Correctional Facility on fraud related charges. With early release, she could be be back home as soon as Christmas time.

As for her thoughts about her husband branching out with his own show, Teresa reportedly has some reservations, another source said.

"While Teresa is happy Joe will be making some money, she is concerned that she will not be around to filter what her husband and kids are saying and doing," the source said.

Since Teresa has been imprisoned over the last five months, her husband has been dogged by controversy, much of it stemming from persistent rumors about him cheating on his wife. Several months ago, Joe angrily told Us Weekly rumors of hooking up with a woman named Jamie Jackson were totally false.

"No, I did not flirt with her. I did not make out with her, nothing happened between us," he said.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline reports filming for the seventh season of "Real Housewives" is rumored to be delayed so network officials can try to work Teresa's release into the show. Reportedly, she has already signed on to return to the cast.

Joe Giudice is slated to begin serving his 41-month sentence on similar charges once his wife has been released.
