In last week's "The Whispers" episode, "Collison," audiences did not learn what or who Drill is, but there is a better understanding of what happened between Claire Bennigan and her husband, Sean Bennigan/John Doe, and that someone is paying Sean for his efforts.

Minx Lawrence had to speak with a child psychiatrist last week who told her Drill isn't real and that she needs to stop playing with him. When Minx's mom talked with the psychiatrist after Minx left, Drill sprang into action to win Minx back. He played Donora's "Play Nice" on the car stereo and spoke to the little girl. Unimpressed, she switched off the radio.

Minx also showed Claire the blueprints she printed. The logo on the blueprint tipped off Claire that Sean is headed for the Harper Point nuclear power plant.

While it may have seemed Minx was done with Drill, the Futon Critic reports that she will communicate with him once again and enlist Henry to do his bidding in the upcoming episode "Meltdown." The question is, how will Drill handle her informing others of their interaction?

Meanwhile, Claire now knows that the numbers scribbled on the bakery receipt she found in Sean's bag belong to an account where he receives payments. It seems as if he receives a payment for each child gone bad.

Claire's FBI partner, Wes Lawrence, learned that Harper's father made an annual safety inspection trip to the nuclear plant but had to leave before completing the inspection because his wife suddenly went into a coma. Wes and Claire compared notes and realized that Sean's plan to cause a nuclear plant disaster must be connected to Drill -- the same Drill that Minx has been talking to.

In the previous episode, Sean told Dr. Benavidez that his tattoos reveal his next steps as she drove them toward an unknown destination. His strange behavior led her to intentionally crash their rental car. The doctor escaped the car. Sean followed. The two ended up at an electrical fence surrounding the nuclear plant.

In the next "The Whispers" episode, titled "Meltdown," Claire and Wes will do everything in their power to stop Sean from causing a nuclear disaster that could harm millions of people.

Watch "The Whispers'" Episode 4, "Meltdown," on Monday, June 22, at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
