Teresa Giudice isn't letting a small inconvenience like spending most of her time locked behind bars get in the way of a good tan.

Radar reports the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star and current Danbury Federal Correctional Facility inmate has recently been spotted on the grounds sunbathing in the prison yard.

"Teresa has been laying out by the track area of the prison after finishing her work duty in the kitchen," a source told the website. "Typically each day, Teresa gets about one hour at the end of the day, with more time on the weekend to lay out. She is being very careful to not be photographed by any lurking photographers."

The 43-year-old Giudice is rumored to be doing all she can to keep herself in shape while incarcerated and reportedly has already agreed to rejoin the cast of the show once she has been released.

Her attorney, James J. Leonard, previously told E! News his client is concentrating on taking care of her mind and spirit while incarcerated.

"She's making sure her family's looked after," he said. "She's re-prioritizing things in her life."

With early release from her 15-month sentence on fraud charges, Giudice could be back home as early as around Christmas time. Radar previously reported "Real Housewives" officials have decided to delay filming for the next season of the show in hopes that they might be able to include footage of her release.

"Without Teresa there just isn't a lot going on with the women," the source admitted. "With her on board, cameras would film Joe's final days with the family as he prepares to begin his 41 month prison sentence."

Like his wife, Joe Giudice was also convicted on bank-related fraud charges.
