Bobbi Kristina Brown News Update: Bobby Brown Wants Answers About What Happened to His Daughter
Bobby Brown is desperately looking for answers.
While stressing that his primary focus is now on his daughter's medical condition and the hope of her getting better, Brown admits he wants to know what happened on the morning of Jan. 31 to lead to this state.
"Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter's injuries needs to be brought to justice," he said in a statement released to ABC News.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter born to Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, has remained unresponsive since being discovered that day face down in the bath tub of the Georgia home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon. After initially being hospitalized and placed in a medically induced coma for several weeks, she is now being cared for at a long term rehab facility.
TMZ has previously reported authorities have now launched a criminal investigation into the circumstances surrounding her injuries after doctors discovered several other unexplained bruises on her body. Reportedly, the probe targets 25-year-old Gordon as the primary suspect.
Since she's been hospitalized, Bobbi Kristina's family members have banned Gordon from being able to visit her.
"I am making decisions with [Whitney Houston's sister-in-law] Pat Houston and we are working together for the medical care of my daughter," Bobby Brown added in his statement. "Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina's medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us."
Whitney Houston died a little more than three years ago after she too was found face down in the bath tub of the Beverly Hills hotel where she was staying. Authorities have since revealed she had drugs in her system at the time of her death.
Reportedly, Nick Gordon has now relocated to Florida and is believed to be residing with his mother.
