Homer and Marge Simpson are taking to the airwaves to put to rest rumors of an imminent split between them.

With "The Simpsons" headed for its 27th season this September, the New York Daily News reports rumors are rumbling like never before that the two major married characters might be flying solo for much of this upcoming season.

But in a recently released promo clip, the joined-at-the-hip pair chastise fans about being so quick to believe everything they hear.

"Homey and I are here to address baseless rumors that Homey and I are going to split up," Marge says as a banner declaring "Together Forever" hangs above their heads.

All the noise began when show executive producer Al Jean told Variety earlier this month that the couple would "separate in an upcoming episode."

Throughout the clip, the couple pokes fun at the widespread media coverage given to the interview, with Marge explaining to Homer that "it was first reported on CNN, and then the real news started reporting it all over the world."

After wondering if newscasters might be better served covering more important things like "LeBron's junk," Homer puts everyone's minds and hearts to rest once and for all by declaring he and his wife are still what they've always been to one another.

"Marjorie and I are as solid as a rock," he said, just before taking an arrow to the eye courtesy of daughter Maggie dressed as Cupid.

Over time, even Bart has weighed in on the maddening issue, recently tweeting an angry and perplexed looking photo of himself under the caption, "RT and stop the rumors?"

The 27th season of "The Simpsons" will premiere on Fox Sept. 27.
