Music and fashion icon Cher recently took to Twitter to share her opinion on Donald Trump's recent announcement about choosing to run for president, Time reports.

Cher described Trump as an "obnoxious *sshole" and criticized his ego. She also answered her fans' questions about Trump. According to The Huffington Post, when a fan asked Cher if she'd ever take a picture with Trump as president she responded that she'd rather "stick needles in my eyes."

When another fan asked her to choose between Trump or Ted Cruz, she replied, "That's like saying, 'Would you rather have a migraine or throw up?'"

THP reports that since announcing his bid for presidency last week, Trump's announcement has been met with loads of criticism and mockery.

Russell Simmons is among many celebrities and public figures that have expressed their disapproval over his run. During a recent interview with THP, Simmons revealed that he doesn't like Trump's politics and doesn't think "he's be good for America at all."

Simmons even said that he would vote for reality TV star Kim Kardashian over Trump. "He makes a lot of news. Doesn't have as much influence as, say, Kim Kardashian. She would probably be a better president, in my opinion."

When asked to elaborate on his statement that Trump isn't good for America, Simmons explained that he feels Trump's politics are "divisive and hurtful" and not beneficial to the American people.

"The rich are already taking advantage of everybody else, and we haven't done much to change that," he explained. "You don't want a big business guy to be in charge of this country. You don't want him to be the president because he may support more of [this]."
