Cara Delevingne Declares Love for Girlfriend St. Vincent
Cara Delevingne declared her love for her girlfriend musician Annie Clark in her interview for Vogue as she poses on the cover of the magazine.
"I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I'm feeling so happy with who I am these days," the model said of her significant other known mostly by her stage name St. Vincent. "And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle."
Delevingne said that she was confused about her sexuality and at first the thought of being gay frightened her.
"It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it," she says.
Yet, her parents believe that liking girls is just a phase the young model is going through.
"The thing is, if I ever found a guy I could fall in love with, I'd want to marry him and have his children," Delevingne says. "And that scares me to death because I think I'm a whole bunch of crazy, and I always worry that a guy will walk away once he really, truly knows me."
Meanwhile, reports say singer Selena Gomez is working on a tell-all book where she would dish celebrity secrets including her hookups with Delevingne, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
The pop star has been rumored to have had an intimate relationship with the model and other girls in the past.
Delevingne is one of the most successful models of her era, being dubbed the next Kate Moss.
"In 20 years we may look back at this era and think of Cara the same way we look back at the sixties and think of Jean Shrimpton," says designer Erdem Moralioglu.
The famous London native struggled throughout her childhood while she watched her mother battle a heroin addiction.
