Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott Facing Money Problems? Couple Holds Massive Yard Sale Over Father's Day Weekend
Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott spent much of their Father's Day weekend unloading everything from antiques to furniture to clothing and jewelry in a massive California yard sale.
TMZ reports the two virtually turned their San Fernando Valley neighborhood into the swap meet locale of all swap meets, offering up "everything that's not nailed down."
Money problems come as nothing new for the couple, and during a 2014 episode of their Bravo-aired "True Tori" reality show, Spelling broke out in tears over the two's faltering finances.
"I'm overwhelmed with life," a teary-eyed Spelling said in one scene, according to Hollywood Life. "I just feel so responsible for so many people, and I can't do it -- the responsibility of having to take care of so many people financially."
As McDermott tries comforting his wife, she rants about them having to now live paycheck-to-paycheck, at one point angrily declaring they should change their lifestyles, including "paying for five f***ing private schools."
In later episodes, the daughter of legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling has a change of heart.
"I don't want to change our lifestyle," she said in another scene. "That's why I work so hard. I don't want to change."
Aaron Spelling created such hit shows as "The Mod Squad," "The Rookies," "Charlie's Angels," "7th Heaven," "Jane's House," "Charmed," "Sunset Beach" and "90210," which his daughter starred in as Donna Martin.
In 2014, the ABC-aired "Mystery Girl," starring Spelling and "90210" alum Jennie Garth, was canceled after just one season and 10 episodes.
Spelling and McDermott's "True Tori" reality show was based on the couple working to save their marriage after McDermott admitted to cheating on his wife.
In October 2014, Spelling revealed she and McDermott were intimate on the first night they met, a time when both of them were married to other people.
