Season 2 of "The Last Ship" has started with two new sets that have doubled as the main locations for the series.

The first set being aboard the Navy ship U.S.S. Nathan James. Meanwhile, the other is on land with Rachel, Chandler and Green, according to TVLine.

Aboard the ship, Slattery and the crew tend to Quincy's wounds, but it may prove useless. Viewers can also see that even though the crew was rounded up on shore, O'Connor made a break for it when the ship took off and can be seen climbing his way up the anchor chain.

What was really interesting, though, is that Quincy said he hid the primordial and ripped open his wounds to allow himself to bleed out, which was in response to his captors threatening his wife Kelly.

On the shore scene, the Olympia complex, which is where they were burning bodies to keep the electricity on, was infiltrated by Chandler and Green. But while Jeter was watching Chandler's kids, the boys vomiting forced him out of the abandoned apartment to get medicine.

This would in turn lead to a street rat spotting him and exposing them to Avocet. This turned out OK since Chandler and Jeter were able to fend them off.

Rachel has clung to her situation, eventually making a deal with Granderson to at least get some things to go her way. She said that if she were allowed to give some of the "undesirables" the remaining doses of the cure, then she would agree to help them (Avocet) manufacture more.

Tex got access to Avocet and helped to seize the organization. He also came to Rachel's rescue and defense. During the raid though, Alisha was shot and Thornwald died attempting to takeover Granderson's office.

The episode ended with Chandler cornering Granderson on the roof. She agreed to surrender, but then jabbed herself with the toxic cocktail seeing her only future as trial or capital punishment.
