"Jurassic World" actor Chris Pratt visited Our Lady of Lake Children's Hospital, where he showed kids how to train velociraptors.

The Hospital released a statement about the actor's visit via Facebook.

"Actor Chris Pratt, best known for Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy, took time out from filming his latest movie to visit with our ‪#‎AmazingKids at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital. Our patients were all smiles and we are so thankful to Chris for lifting their spirits by visiting and handing out Jurassic World goodies. Thanks to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals for coordinating such a special visit!" the post read.

Pratt celebrated his birthday weekend at the Children's Hospital and gave patients some goodies from his new movie as he relived one of the scenes, according to Just Jared.

Earlier this year, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor visited another children's hospital in Boston along with Chris Evans, Entertainment Weekly reports. Pratt replayed a scene from the movie and came to the hospital in full Star-Lord clothing.

Later on, the duo visited another children's hospital in Seattle, where Evans came dressed in a full Captain America costume.

Meanwhile, "Jurassic World" crossed the $1 billion mark on Monday after its release less than two weeks ago, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie, starring Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, is becoming the fastest movie in history to achieve such a record. It took "Jurassic World" 10 days to reach $400 million in North America while it took "Avengers" two weeks.

On Father's Day, the movie continued to rise in the box offices, hitting $106.6 million. The movie is also showing great success overseas where it reached more than $160 million in China.

"Jurassic World" is the third film to cross $1 billion in 2015 after "Furious 7" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
