NBA 2K14 gamers will be getting accustomed to some new faces after a new roster update brought in players such as Greg Oden, a once promising star who has missed several seasons.

Greg Oden returned to the court on Jan. 15 for the first time since December of 2009 and this means he's a part of the latest roster update.

Ronnie 2K 2K14 tweeted about the Oden and the update on Friday.

"#NBA2K14 Roster Update went live overnight, incl. Greg Oden's return, Hedo Turkoglu signing & @RajonRondo's return from injury among changes," he wrote.

In other news, 2K Games said on Twitter that a fourth patch would be released to the Xbox One. The 2K website confirmed that it is intended for the Xbox One, but never said anything about it being on Playstation 4.

As 2K Games said on Twitter, "#NBA2K14 Patch 4 submitted to 1st party. Looks to address XB1 drop to main menu issue among other fixes. Usual 10-14 day approval process."

NBA 2K14 enjoyed a monstrous release from the beginning but fans have had their fair share of complaints regarding server issues and glitches during various modes.

However, despite the complaints the game has received very high ratings and is seen as an upgrade from NBA 2K13, which was also a successful game. The improved graphics and more realistic gameplay receive praise along with the different game modes available for users. Among some of the improvements in the gameplay include much smoother movements instead of the older robotic characters. Also, extra features -- such as the ability to get technical fouls through Xbox One's Kinect -- are getting the attention of fans as a number of people have posted on Twitter about their new gaming experience.
