Jaden Smith is finally talking about showing up in a Batman suit to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding last May.

"I wore the Batman suit to heighten my experience at the wedding and [at] prom, which was fun," Smith told GQ of the two times he recently donned the eye-catching attire in public. "But also, at the wedding, I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there, and needed to have the proper gear to do so."

According to Us Weekly, for the star-studded European extravaganza, attended by the likes of Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Joe Francis and Tony Williams, 16-year-old Smith dressed in white from head-to-toe.

"He had his Batman costume on and I thought it was just genius," Jenner raved to the HuffPost Live after all the 'I do's' had been uttered. "When you look at it ... it sounds just crazy, [but] it was beautiful. He looked so good."

In Will Smith and Jada Pinkett's son's mind, his style in clothes mirrors his personal life.

"Every day it changes," he said. "How I feel about the world and myself... but I like wearing super drapey things so I can feel as though I'm a superhero, but don't have to necessarily wear superhero costumes every day."

Among his style idols, Smith listed such comic book icons as Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Superman and, of course, Kanye West.

If nothing else, Smith hints he's learned a thing or two from his dad.

"My dad went on national television with a crop top on, showing his belly button," he said. "And to this day he regrets it. So, I show him pictures of it and he thinks it's literally hilarious. That's my favorite Fresh Prince outfit by far."
