Former World No.1 American tennis player Lindsay Davenport is offering her Laguna Beach home on the market.

The 39-year-old retired professional tennis player is selling one of her California properties for $3.25 million, Los Angeles Times reported. The 2008 U.S. Open winner bought it 15 years ago for around $1.3 million, noted the Times, citing property records.

In her interview with Laguna Beach Magazine in 2012, Davenport shared what she liked about the town.

"I love Laguna because it's one of the most beautiful towns in the world, but there's also a laid-back feeling when you walk the streets..It's not pretentious like some of the surrounding towns. ... People are very casual-you don't feel you have to dress a certain way to fit in ... I love that we can wear flip-flops or casual clothes. It's so great for us to have that sense of normalcy and not be so fancy. You can be yourself and do whatever you want just outside your home," Davenport told the magazine.

She also added that there are great local businesses in the area. "I couldn't ask to raise my kids in a better town," the legendary tennis player added.

The 1996 Olympics medalist's residence is a single-story home built almost 60 years ago, according to the Times. The 2,134-square-foot home includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Other living spaces on the house sitting on a corner lot are a formal living room and a dining room.

Notable interior details are hardwood flooring, soaring ceilings that give an airy and comfortable ambiance and a brick fireplace. Outdoors, new owners may relax in the patio while savoring views of the lawn and the fountain. The private and secured community reportedly offers wonderful amenities for residents like a pool, volleyball courts, tennis court, a park, and the Laguna beach.

Inquiries about the property may be directed to Harold Noriega of HOM Sotheby'€™s International Realty who handles the listing. The home is also for lease for $8,000 a month, wrote The Orange County Register.
